Looked likely to be playing most of his golf on the Alps Tour in 2007 before a glorious end to his 2006 season saw him win a place on The European Tour. Lying 110th on the Challenge Tour Rankings going into the Golf International Open de Toulouse – the penultimate event of the 2006 Challenge Tour season – the Frenchman needed to win the tournament to qualify for the season ending Apulia San Domenico Grand Final. He duly did so, and by qualifying for the Grand Final guaranteed a place at The European Tour Qualifying School – Final Stage, where he performed with distinction to take the tenth available European Tour card and complete his outstanding end to 2006. First picked up a club at his home in Noumea in New Caledonia at age 12 and playing on subsequent holidays with his father developed his love for the game. Cites Tiger Woods and Zinedine Zidane as his sporting heroes.
