Biography

Did not start playing golf until he was 17 and learned the game from his brother, a single-figur e handicapper, and played on the Japan Golf Tour, winning twice, and the Asian Tour before becoming the first Chinese player to win on home soil on the European Tour when he captured the 2015 Volvo China Open, before adding a second at the 2016 Lyoness Open. Loves basketball and was a strong player in high school, but even at 6ft felt he was not tall enough to compete seriously.
