Arrived on the Challenge Tour in 2012 with a big reputation, winning eight times in four years on the Nordic League before winning the satellite tour’s Order of Merit by a record margin in 2011. Watched his close friend and compatriot Kristoffer Broberg storm through the developmental tour the following year, and made his own mark in 2013, winning the prestigious Rolex Trophy. It was not enough to graduate to The European Tour through the Rankings, but he later earned a card at the Qualifying School Final Stage. Represented Sweden as an amateur for the first time aged 17 before turning professional in 2008, after finishing school. As a three year old, he would hit balls in bunkers while his father played golf, but joked: “He did not like raking after me all the time.” Enjoys playing the guitar, although he admits he does not have much time for it anymore, and is a fan of Dire Straits and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
