Won for the first time on the Challenge Tour at the 2019 Turkish Airlines Challenge, defeating Francesco Laporta with a birdie on the first play-off hole to open the season at the top of the Rankings. Excelled as an amateur – a victory at the 2016 Australian Amateur Championship helped propel him up to eighth in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Joined the paid ranks in 2017 after representing Great Britain & Ireland in the Walker Cup, and caught the eye during his first professional start at the Portugal Masters on the European Tour when he finished tied 12th after carding four successive under-par rounds. Earned a debut season on the European Tour in 2017 after finishing inside the top 25 at Qualifying School Final Stage.
