Race to Dubai - Past Champions

Rory McIlroy won The Race to Dubai for a second time in 2014 – his maiden triumph having come two years previously – becoming the first person to achieve the feat. The Northern Irishman's name was etched onto The Harry Vardon Trophy once more, next to that of Henrik Stenson (2013), himself (2012), Luke Donald (2011) Martin Kaymer (2010) and Lee Westwood (2009).

En route to his 2014 coronation - in a year in which he also reclaimed the World Number One spot - McIlroy picked up two Major Championships in The Open Championship and the US PGA Championship, his first WGC event at the Bridgestone Invitational and the flagship BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth – a victory which proved to be the catalyst for a dominant 2014 campaign.
