Mark McNulty, who played the seond nine holes of his second round in 29, was three ahead of Scott Hoch, the defending champion, and Frank Nobilo entering the last round.  Hoch, helped by holing a wedge shot for an eagle at the 12th, applied the pressure and McNulty led by only one walking to the 18th.  McNulty, however, held on to record his 14th European Tour victory since his maiden triumph in the Greater Manchester Open in 1979.
