COURSE
Designed Arnold Palmer, opened in 1994. There are a lot of water hazards, but mainly not in play. The course is generally flat, fairly soft, so playing relatively easy. There are a lot of trees, but they do not come into play. Some tees are elevated.
GREENS
Type of grass - Tifwarf, cut at 3.5mm
Speed/stimpmeter reading - 10 (February 27).
The greens are very grainy and slope a lot, so pin positions are limited
FAIRWAYS
Type of grass - Tifway 419, cut at 12mm
Fairways have been narrowed in a little for the tournament, but still generous
TEES / COLLARS
Type of grass - Tifway 419; cut at 8mm
ROUGH
Type of grass - Tifway 419 - good density and consistency
Height of cut - semi 30mm; intermediate 60mm; rough 100mm
WEATHER
Possible Thunderstorms during the week. It will be very humid
