    • His third European Tour International Schedule victory in his 83rd European Tour event.

    • His first European Tour victory since the 2004 Omega European Masters – a gap of five years and 267 days.

    • Played in 66 European Tour events between victories.

    • Had three second place finishes in European Tour events since the 2004 Omega European Masters. They were: the 2006 Barclays Scottish Open, 2006 Volvo Masters and 2010 BMW PGA Championship.

    • Moves to €805,376 in the Race to Dubai

    • Moves back into the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking, at nine

    • Moves into the top four of the Ryder Cup World Points List in fourth with 180.54
