Tournament History
Asia's first Major Champion Y E Yang captured his first victory since his US PGA Championship win when he cruised to the 2010 Volvo China Open title, edging out Welsh duo Rhys Davies and Stephen Dodd. The event enters its eighth year on The European Tour schedule in 2011 and it was Dodd who won the inaugural staging in 2005 at Shanghai Silport GC.
