Rafael Cabrera Bello and Graeme Storm were the standout early starters as round two of the ISPS Handa Wales Open began.

Cabrera Bello, seven shots behind overnight leader Espen Kofstad having shot a level-par 71 at The Celtic Manor Resort, birdied three of his opening five holes.

A dropped shot on 17 was then atoned for on the 558 yard par five second to move the Spaniard back to three under.

Cabrera Bello was level with Storm on that score after the Englishman picked up six birdies, which were offset by two bogeys, in his first 11 holes.

They were subsequently four shots behind Kofstad, who was due to tee off at 12:35pm, and two adrift of Chris Wood.

A quartet of players were on four under; of those, France's Grégory Bourdy and Australia's Richard Green were on the course but struggling to build on good rounds yesterday.
