Malaysia is the focus this week for European Tour Weekly as we head to Kuala Lumpur for the Maybank Malaysian Open. As usual, we will be on the range to find out the thoughts of the players who are all hoping for success at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

Last year in Malaysia Kiradech Aphibarnrat held off a string of star names to capture his first European Tour title. One ahead of former Masters Tournament winner Charl Schwartzel at the start of the day, the 23-year-old Thai golfer held his nerve to finish one shot clear of Edoardo Molinari and he spoke to ETW about his memories from 12 months ago.

This week’s review comes from the Masters Tournament in Augusta and we will find out how the Europeans fared in golf’s first Major of the year.

Whilst in Augusta, ETW caught up with Dutchman Joost Luiten who was making his Masters debut having qualified through his World Golf Ranking at the end of last year. No Augusta rookie has savoured Masters victory since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 but Luiten was hoping to become the 16th first-time winner in the past 21 Major Championships.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
