Spain is the focus this week for European Tour Weekly as we head to Girona for the Open de España. As usual, we will be on the range to find out the thoughts of the players who are all hoping for success at the PGA Catalunya Resort.

A strong Spanish contingent will be represented this week at the stunning 36-hole venue whose Stadium course has been ranked Spain’s number one for the past three years. ETW met up with one of those, 2012 Ryder Cup Captain José María Olazábal at the Olazábal & Nadal Invitational Pro-Am. Despite winning 23 times on The European Tour his own national title has always eluded him.

This week’s review comes from the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal - BPI and we will have highlights of the action at Clube de Golf do Santo da Serra.

Whilst in Madeira European Tour Weekly caught up with the 2003 winner, Bradley Dredge. It was Dredge’s maiden European Tour title and included a course record 60 during the third round, which helped him to an eight shot winning margin.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
