With big names aplenty, including tournament host Rory McIlroy, in action at The K Club in Ireland this week, it is hardly surprising that the draw for the first two rounds has thrown up some mouth-watering tee times...
McIlroy will have defending champion Søren Kjeldsen and Andy Sullivan for company over the first two days at the County Kildare venue, in a lively three-ball that's bound to draw big crowds.
Rory will be keen to impress when he gets his challenge under way from the first tee at 13:25, while Sullivan is always a joy to watch with his brand of positive, attacking golf.
Ten minutes after the World Number Three has teed off it will be the turn of Masters Champion Danny Willett to step onto the first tee, with the Englishman making his first European Tour start since his brilliant victory at Augusta National.
Willett, who leads the Race to Dubai rankings by more than a million points, has been paired with Rafa Cabrera Bello, who sits third in the season rankings and finished tied fourth at this event last year, and European Tour legend Lee Westwood, for the first two days.
The crowds will also be out in force for the 8.35 tee time, which sees home favourite Shane Lowry head off from the tenth tee alongside Bernd Wiesberger and man of the moment Jeunghun Wang.
Lowry, who famously won this event seven years ago as a fresh-faced amateur, will get a first-hand look at Wang, the South Korean player who has made a huge impression by winning the last two events on The European Tour.
Another home favourite and man who has tasted victory in his home Open is Padraig Harrington. The popular three-time Major Champion starts his challenge at 08.05 from the tenth tee, alongside enigmatic Frenchman Victor Dubuisson and England’s Ross Fisher.
Graeme McDowell is also in town, the ten time European Tour winner teeing off at 13.45 from the first with dynamic duo Thomas Pieters and Thorbjørn Olesen.
