63 – Tommy Fleetwood set a new course record at Carnoustie, firing a 63 on Friday.

30 – The Race to Dubai leader needed only 30 shots on the fearsome back nine of the Championship Course.

9 – Fleetwood made nine birdies and avoided a bogey to set a new landmark.

11 – Defending champion Tyrrell Hatton shares the lead with Fleetwood on 11 under par.

40 – Last week's British Masters supported by Sky Sports winner Paul Dunne is 40 under par for his last ten rounds after he posted a 68.

– Gregory Bourdy and Aidan Heavey lead the team competition on 21 under par.

4 – Hatton completed four scrambles out of four. He has got up and down eight out of the nine times he's missed the green this week.

3 – Fleetwood has three previous 36-hole leads - 2011 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, 2014 Volvo Golf Champions and 2017 US Open and Hatton has one - 2016 Irish Open.
