His third European Tour victory in his 95th appearance.

Becomes the first Chinese winner of the KLM Open in the 99th edition of the event.

The second Chinese victory on the 2018 European Tour international schedule, following Li Haotong’s triumph at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The seventh European Tour win for a player from China.

Only four players from China have won on the European Tour. They are: Wu (2015 Volvo China Open and 2016 Lyoness Open), Li (2016 Volvo China Open and 2018 Omega Dubai Desert Classic), Lian Wei Zhang (2003 Caltex Masters) and Liang Wen Chong (2007 Clariden Leu Singapore Masters).

Moves to 43rd on the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex on 713,842 points, up from 90th.

Could move inside the top 175 in the Official World Golf Ranking from 343rd.

Becomes the first player from China to win three times on the European Tour.
