    2001* (winner) Qualifying School

Finished tied ninth in the Jersey Seniors Classic for his best result of 2008. Made a massive impact when he won the 2001 European Senior Tour Qualifying School by ten shots and he showed it was no fluke when he captured his first Senior Tour title on his second time out at the inaugural Tobago Plantations Seniors Classic in 2002. It was his sole victory of the season but he did finish tied second at both the Lawrence Batley Seniors and the De Vere PGA Seniors Championship and ended the season as a worthy winner of the Rookie of the Year Award. In 2004 he claimed joint fifth place in The Mobile Cup and recorded six other top 20 finishes to take 38th spot on the Order of Merit. Prior to turning 50, spent most of his career as a club professional in the Washington area of the United States where he won a number of PGA events. He decided to retire from his club job in his late 40s in order to prepare for the Senior Tour and spent most of the 2001 season attempting to Monday qualify for events on the US Champions Tour. He did well enough to win $52,442 but missed out on a Tour Card at the subsequent Qualifying School and chose to come to Europe instead.
