Europe’s Senior Major Championship returns to Royal Porthcawl for the first time since 2017 and fans can now take advantage of Early Bird tickets to see some of the biggest names in over-50s golf in Mid Glamorgan.
Tickets start at £15 for adults, £10 for juniors aged 12-17, while tickets for under 12s are completely free. Last year, Northern Irishman Darren Clarke claimed the prestigious Championship at Gleneagles, becoming just the fourth player to win both The Open and The Senior Open, 11 years after his triumph at Royal St George’s.
This will be the third time the Championship has visited Royal Porthcawl, with Germany’s Bernhard Langer winning both editions. In 2014, the first time the event visited Wales, two-time Masters Champion Langer made history by cruising to a 13-stroke lead as he finished on 18 under par.
