The event boasts an illustrious list of past winners with five of the previous seven champions claiming victories on the European Tour.

Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston, who won the event in 2014, claimed his maiden European Tour title in 2016, before 2016 champion Alexander Björk lifted his first European Tour trophy in 2018. Ryan Fox and Aaron Rai, winners of the event in 2015 and 2017 respectively, have both gone on to win on the European Tour.

Additionally, 2018 champion Richard McEvoy won on the Race to Dubai a week after his French success by clinching his maiden European Tour title at the Porsche European Open in his 285th start on the European Tour.

England’s Steven Tiley is the latest winner of the event having scooped his first Challenge Tour title at the 2019 edition.

The tournament will be one of three French events on the Road to Mallorca International Schedule in 2021 as France continues its long association with the Challenge Tour.
