Estonian Golf and Country Club, the nation’s first-class golfing facility located just outside of the capital Tallinn beside the Baltic Sea, welcomes the Road to Mallorca from July 30 - August 2, becoming the 52nd country to host a HotelPlanner Tour event.

The Infortar Estonian Challenge, as well as becoming a new stop on the schedule, will also boast a record-breaking prize fund for Estonian sporting events, with the winner receiving €48,000 of the €300,000 prize fund.

And for Ain Hanschmidt, president of the Estonian Golf Association (EGL), the event at the end of July is a landmark step for golf across the country.

“For Estonian golfers, it is a window into the professional world,” he said.

“For fans, an opportunity to witness top-level golf firsthand; and for Estonian sport as a whole, another international high-class event alongside the WRC Delfi Rally Estonia, Swedbank Tallinn Marathon, and Ironman – one that will help make our country and our players more visible on the global stage.”

Estonia’s most promising talent will be provided with playing opportunities at the Infortar Estonian Challenge with 50 spots allocated to the EGL. Richard Teder, a 21-year-old amateur from Tallinn and one of the country’s brightest amateur prospects, made waves ahead of the 2025 Open Championship, where he became the first Estonian to qualify for the sport’s oldest major.

The 2026 edition of the Infortar Estonian Challenge will be the first of a three-year agreement with the European Tour Group, with the HotelPlanner Tour set to visit 19 countries throughout the course of the 2026 Road to Mallorca.
