A new event on the Challenge Tour schedule for 2017 as the Challenge Tour joins forces with the European Tour for a dual-ranking event – meaning that points earned will count towards both the Race to Dubai and the Road to Oman.
The Challenge Tour has a long and successful history with Portugal and its golfers, with José-Filipe Lima having graduated last season and the year before that Ricardo Gouveia having topped the Road to Oman Rankings following a record-breaking 2015 campaign.
