The Challenge Tour broke new ground in 2016 with its first visit to Ras Al Khaimah for the Ras Al Khaimah, 2016 Golf Challenge – the biggest sporting event in the emirate’s history.
Returning for a second season, the penultimate event of the season offers the last chance for players to seal a spot in the top 45 of the Road to Oman Rankings and earn a place in the following week’s NBO Golf Classic Grand Final.
The inaugural staging in 2016 was fittingly dramatic as Jordan Smith came from behind on the final day to take a second win of the season and seal the Rankings top spot for the year.
