Form Horse: David Horsey
David Horsey is a player that cannot stop scoring well of late. The four-time DP World Tour winner hasn’t finished outside the top 20 in any of his last five HotelPlanner Tour starts, which includes back-to-back tied for third finishes at the Infortar Estonian Challenge and Scottish Challenge supported by The R&A respectively. The 41-year-old made the cut at the Danish Golf Championship on the DP World Tour last month, where he finished 26th and continued his fine form upon his return to HotelPlanner Tour action last week at the Dormy Open by Creekhouse. With his game in a good spot, can Horsey find the fourth HotelPlanner Tour victory of his career this week?
Local Boy: Jan Pyla
As one of the youngest players in the field this week, Jan Pyla is a player to keep an eye on in Poland. The 16-year-old amateur makes his HotelPlanner Tour debut after securing his invitation following his victory in the 5 Stars Junior Cup by Adrian Meronk 2026. Pyla was recently selected for the inaugural cohort of the Iga Świątek Foundation Scholarship Program and tees it up this week to compete against some of HotelPlanner Tour’s best players, alongside seven compatriots.
Outsider: Caleb Surratt
Caleb Surratt is another player making his HotelPlanner Tour debut this week. The 22-year-old American has teed it up on the DP World Tour on multiple occasions this season, including at the Crown Australian Open in December 2025, where he finished in a tie for eighth. He also appeared at two Major Championships this year in The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, and the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, where he made the cut. More recently, Surratt finished in a tie for 13th at the Danish Golf Championship, which earned him points on the Road to Mallorca Rankings, where he currently sits in 167th place, despite not making an appearance.
