As the 2026 season approaches its climax, the Road to Mallorca heads to Rosa Golf Club in Konopiska, Poland, for the third edition of the Rosa Challenge Tour. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the opening tee shot on Thursday…
Past Champions
Swede Hugo Townsend was crowned champion in last year’s edition of the Rosa Challenge Tour as he carded two rounds of 69, a 64 and a 63 on his way to victory, finishing two shots clear of German Anton Albers. Townsend would go on to earn promotion to the DP World Tour due to the late-season win.
Angel Ayora was the inaugural champion of the Rosa Challenge Tour in 2024, as he capitalised on scorable conditions early, and level par was enough to secure victory on the final day. The Spaniard has gone on to show his class on the DP World Tour since his promotion at the end of that year and has earned a total of 16 top ten finishes on the DP World Tour in less than two years.
Rosa Golf Club
Rosa Golf Club makes its third appearance on the HotelPlanner Tour this week and does so as one of the finest golf courses in the country. Situated in the city of Czestochowa, it was designed by architect Hans-Georg Erhardt and opened its doors in 2005. The parkland layout was built to exacting USGA specification, with the build process seeing over a million cubic metres shifted during construction.
The par 70 course hosts water hazards throughout, with interconnected lakes creating several intimidating approach shots. The 192-metre 14th and 172-metre 17th are two testing par threes on the back nine, with both protected by water.
The facilities are also second-to-none, with 80 driving range bays, a 1,500m square practice putting green and a modern clubhouse.
Road to Mallorca
This week marks the 22nd event on the 2026 Road to Mallorca schedule, and as we approach the business end of the season, it’s all to play for this week, with each player in the field looking to make headway and claim crucial points to boost their position on the Rankings.
With Road to Mallorca Number One Christoffer Blomstrand taking a week off after his home win in Sweden, Pablo Ereno has a chance to catch the leader with a win, but for many others, the chance to earn their place inside the top 15 on the Rankings is the most important thing this week. With just six events remaining, a positive result in Poland could be enough to secure a spot inside the top 45, which is the provisional cut off to secure a spot at the 2026 Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A.
