The Challenge Series 2013 - Episode Four

With summer now in full swing across Europe it seems fitting that the latest exciting instalment of The Challenge Series be brought to you from the sunny holiday isle of La Gomera. A luxurious setting in the heart of the Canary Islands, no doubt, but for the next generation of World class golfers this is no vacation.

The 2013 Challenge Tour campaign remains anyone’s for the taking and the action on course as thrilling as ever.

One man very much in the mix is Sihwan Kim. A long way from home, the Korean took time out from his day job to deliver an exclusive insight into the ups and downs of life on the road.

Back on the European mainland we also have highlights from the D+D Real Czech Challenge Open. Hosting this event for the second year is the Pardubice region of the Czech Republic, an area regarded as the ‘Gingerbread Capital of Europe’ no less!

It’s an opportunity for the game’s future stars to taste some rather unusual culture, as Sweden’s Jens Dantorp discovered while taking a step back in time to explore the area’s medieval history.

Also under our spotlight this week is Bernd Ritthammer; a man aiming to become the next in a long line of German success stories on the Challenge Tour.
