The qualities of intelligence and style of the famous Spanish champion, Severiano Ballesteros, can be found at Pont Royal, the only golf course designed by him in France.
The course is integrated into the natural environment of Provence with ‘garrigue’ and pine woods offering both a technical and tactical challenge.
Well situated in the commune of Mallemort, between Aix and Avignon, at 30 minutes from the TGV station and the airport of Marseille, our golf course offers great views of the Alpilles mountains and the Luberon region, the Durance valley and the massive of Trevaresse.
Beautifully maintained, the Pont Royal Golf Course is an open tourism and athletic gate towards Provence and it offers a real sporting challenge to players of all levels with its great varieties of departure platforms and wide hilly greens.
The Pont Royal Golf course offers an excellent golf practice in all seasons which allowed us to host every year in October, during the last 14 years, “The Masters 13”, an important tournament from the professional European calendar.
Since 2010, Pont Royal Golf has a training center called “La Durance” comprising 6 holes, a large practice range and 3 greens for approach practice. In 2017, Pont Royal Golf Club will celebrate its 25th anniversary. There will be lot of great events to enjoy this special time, so come visit us !
