Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo - What's in the bag?

What's in the bag of DP World Tour member Richard Mansell and Premier League footballer Matty Cash at this week's Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.

Mansell, from Cannock, just half an hour down the road from The Belfry, finished in a share of eighth at last year’s tournament and is currently in his third consecutive season on the DP World Tour after graduating from the European Challenge Tour in 2020.

With a runner-up result and two third-place finishes to his name during his Tour career thus far, the 28-year-old played at the inaugural Hero Cup in Abu Dhabi earlier this year.

Known for his ball striking, the Englishman has a new set of T100 irons from Titleist in his bag with the aim of being able to launch the ball higher and have a softer landing.

"I was playing with blades before which I really like but I just feel like these clubs have made it a little easier," he said.

But it isn't just DP World Tour professionals lining the fairways this week, with Aston Villa defender Matty Cash having impressed as part of the winning team on his Pro-Am debut.

Despite The Belfry being his local course, Cash is a new member at Wentworth Club and is fitted with the TaylorMade P770 irons and Callaway Paradym driver and woods.

Speaking with TV reporter Tim Barter, the Poland international also reveals the story behind how he came to buy a Scotty Cameron putter.
