Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters - Day three digest

Everything you need to know from Moving Day at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

Schmid and Winther hit the front while the defending champion produced a big finish to stay in touch on day three of the 2023 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters.

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

Winther's birdie barrage

Jeff Winther's fine recent run of form continued on Saturday as he made seven birdies and no bogeys to grab a share of the lead alongside Matti Schmid on 14 under par. The Dane hit a hot streak on the front nine, reeling off four birdies in a row from the fifth hole. That run included some lengthy putts and this stunning approach into the seventh...

Ko throws a dart

Overnight co-leader Jeong weon Ko produced one of the best tee-shots we've seen all week at the par-three fourth on Saturday. Right at it.

Had to wait until the putts dropped but it was a good birdie-birdie finish. I’m feeling good. Just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Done good over the last few days so I’ll just keep doing that." Could he be one to watch on Sunday?

Meronk's fans out in force

Adrian Meronk made a big move on day three, firing a 66 to climb to ten under par. And the Polish star enjoyed huge support from his adoring fans.
