Romain Langasque is looking to continue his excellent start to the European Tour season at this week's Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek Country Club.
The Frenchman finished in the top 25 in Mauritius and second last week in Johannesburg to move to fifth in the early Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex as he looks to keep hold of his European Tour card for the first time.
After winning The Amateur Championship in 2015, he graduated from the Challenge Tour the following year but could not keep his card and after narrowly missing out again on the Challenge Tour in 2018, he had to come through the Qualifying School in November.
The 23 year old is making his first appearance at Leopard Creek and while he is enjoying the surroundings, he will be all business on Thursday morning.
“I think it's one of the best places I've ever been to play golf,” he said.

“The range is amazing, the par-three course is a beauty, the Kruger Park is just in front of the house. I think it's one of the best venues of the year, we have a lot of good venues but this one is really special.
“Last week was a really good week and I really enjoyed it and my game is in good shape. I just want to continue in that way and enjoy South Africa as I'm enjoying it now.
“My putting has been really strong Saturday and Sunday under pressure and I think that was the most important key to making a good result. My putting was good so my mentality was good, so I think both were key.”
Oliver Wilson sealed his first European Tour top ten since his victory at the 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship last week as his game continues to trend in the direction.
The Englishman won twice last year on the Challenge Tour but narrowly missed out on regaining his playing privileges in the latest twist of a roller coaster career.
The 2008 Ryder Cup star is feeling good about his game, however, and is happy to be back at an event he loves.
“I love it here, it's my favourite place to come in golf,” he said. “I've never done any good here but I love coming back so hopefully I can do a bit better this year now with the design changes and the different grasses.
“You can't not enjoy coming here. You're right in the middle of nature and the course is really good. It was a fun golf course, I would say it's a hard golf course now.
“When you put the whole thing together: you've got good weather, you've got phenomenal scenery, spectacular places, the food is incredible, the course is great. It's exactly what you want in a tournament.
“Things are good, my game is going in the right direction. I was delighted with how I played last week and to get in the mix and play well on Sunday was nice.
“Randpark is tough, it's a tough driving course and that is what I've been struggling with so that was the one thing that I was really delighted with.
“My ball-striking last week was good and I'll keep trying to do the same and improve. There's a long way to go and a lot of work to be done.”
