Jon Rahm voted Golfer of the Month for November

Jon Rahm has been voted the Golfer of the Month presented by DP World

Jon Rahm has been crowned Golfer of the Month presented by DP World for the second month in a row after receiving 56.6% of the public vote. Rahm won the season-ending DP World Tour Championship for the third time in November to seal a record fifth Rolex Series title.

The Spaniard returned to The Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates for the first time since his win in 2019 when he defeated a red-hot Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood down the stretch.

This time round, the two-time champion started the week in steady fashion, opening with a two-under-par round of 70 to sit in a tie for 14th. Rahm made a move on Friday with a 66, before following that up with bogey free 65 on Saturday to open a one-shot lead over fellow U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick heading into the last day of the 2022 season.

A final round 67 gave Rahm a two-shot victory over a charging Tyrrell Hatton, who finished with a best of the day 66.

Fleetwood came second with 47.4% of the vote after winning his first title since 2019 successfully defending his Nedbank Golf Challenge title at Gary Country Club, as the tournament returned after a two-year hiatus.

Starting with three rounds of 70, Fleetwood sat three shots behind the leaders Thomas Detry and Rasmus Højgaard in heading into Sunday in Sun City. The now six-time winner showed his pedigree as he shot a best of the day final 67 to edge out Ryan Fox by a shot.
