
- A total of 957 players took part in the Qualifying School across the three stages. 777 played in Stage 1, who were joined by 108 more at Stage 2, while a further 72 were exempt to the Final Stage.
- A total of 37 players earned their full European Tour cards for 2012.
- There were six players who came through all three Stages of the Qualifying School to gain a card. They were: Hans Peter Bacher, Wil Besseling, Emiliano Grillo, Adrian Otaegui, Scott Pinckney and Taco Remkes.
- There were 11 players who were exempt into Stage 2 and gained a card.
- The remaining 20 players gained a card after being exempt into the Final Stage.
- Of the qualifiers, there will be 17 rookies on The 2012 European Tour.
- Of the 37 qualifiers, nine were fully exempt European Tour Members in the 2011 season.
- The 37 qualifiers were made up from 13 different countries.
- Here are the countries and the breakdown of players: England nine, Netherlands and South Africa five, France four, Spain and Sweden three, Scotland two and one each for, Argentina, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Norway and the United States.
- The five for the Netherlands is a record for the country in the same Qualifying School. The players were: Wil Besseling, Maarten Lafeber, Taco Remkes, Reiner Saxton and Tim Sluiter.
- The youngest player at the Final Stage was Adrian Otaegui of Spain and gained a card. He was 19 years and 24 days and claimed the 23rd card.
- Gary Orr was the oldest player to gain a card for 2012. He was 44 years and 218 days. He gained the eighth card.
- Gary Orr and Scott Pinckney shot the best score in the final round of 65 (-7). Orr began the day in a tie for 28th and finished eighth. Pinckney began the final round in a tie for 66th place, to eventually take card number 24.
