South Korea’s Y.E. Yang made history by becoming the first Asian winner of a Major at the US PGA Championship in August 2009. He held of Tiger Woods, who is the only player to win back to back Championships, in 1999 and 2000, then again in 2006 and 2007. In 2011 Keegan Bradley became the first player since Ben Curtis at the 2003 Open Championship to win a Major Championship in his first Major appearance.
