Greens
Type of grass - L93 Bent grass
Height of cut - 2.8mm
Speed / stimpmeter reading - 10.6 Monday evening, will aim for similar speed all week
Any specific comments - greens are quite undulating and firm
Fairways
Type of grass - Bermuda and Poa Annua over seeded with Rye grass last September
Height of cut - 10mm
General width and contouring - fairways are reasonably wide and contoured
Any specific comments - there are a lot of bushes, trees and sandy areas with ice plants next to the fairways so straight hitting off the tee will be very important this week
Tees / collars
Type of grass - Bermuda and Poa Annua over seeded with Rye grass last September
Height of cut - 10mm
Rough
Type of grass - Bermuda and Poa Annua
Height of cut - semi 32mm, rough topped at 70mm on Monday and won't be cut again
Any specific comments - green surrounds were overseeded with Rye grass two months ago, and Bermuda grass is just starting to grow following the dormancy period and therefore the rough is a bit patchy in places
