We look at the numbers that mattered most on the final round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic as Stephen Gallacher made history by becoming the first man in 25 years of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic to win back-to-back titles.

1st – golfer to ever successfully defend the Omega Dubai Desert Classic title in the 25 year history of the tournament

33 – strokes on the back nine to recover from a terrible start

– over par for the day through nine holes

– footer holed at the last for the title after a nervous first putt

3rd – career victory of Gallacher’s career

– grandstand hit by second placed man Emiliano Grillo at the last that ricocheted onto the green

50 – foot of putt holed on the last by the Argentinian for eagle to take the lead

3rd – Brooks Koepka’s best ever result on The European Tour (previous best seventh at the Omega European Masters)

64 – the round of the day shot by Mikko Ilonen to finish in a tie for fifth
