RSM, the leading audit, tax and consulting firm, has been announced as an Official Supporter of the European Tour for the next year. RSM first partnered with the European Tour in 2016 and as part of the new deal will sponsor the 2018 BMW PGA Championship.
Following a successful academic player performance study completed in 2017 identifying insights into player performance and time spent over the ball, the partnership between RSM and the European Tour will now focus on a series of behind-the-scenes vignettes telling the stories of a number of key personalities and roles on the European Tour. Launching in June, ‘Inside the Tour’ will run as a six-part series throughout the year concluding in November 2018.
Additionally, RSM will also partner with the European Tour on the ‘Winning Formula’ content strand. Each Monday throughout the season, Winning Formula will help portray the key performance metrics of the previous week’s winner, both in social media infographic form and via an interactive, scrollable editorial piece on EuropeanTour.com.
The contract renewal with the European Tour builds on RSM’s growing relationships within golf in the UK, along with its current sponsorship of European Tour professionals Andy Sullivan, Paul Lawrie and Paul Waring.
