Working Together: Our Shared Standards (Third Parties)

A message from Guy Kinnings - Chief Executive Officer

Guy Kinnings

At the European Tour Group, how we work is as important as what we deliver. Our reputation as Golf’s Global Tour has been built over decades and is based on integrity, sound judgement and the standards we uphold every day.

Our suppliers, agencies and partners play a vital role in what we do. You help us deliver world-class tournaments, support our venues and operations, and represent our brand to players, fans, host partners and one another.

This document sets out the standards we expect when working together. They reflect our commitment to integrity, compliance and responsible business practice. We expect you to comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and industry requirements. Where we set a higher standard than the minimum required, we expect that standard to be met.

These expectations apply wherever we work together – across our tournaments, our venues and our hospitality settings, our offices and our field operations and every interaction connected to us and our people.

By working with us, you confirm that you understand these standards and will make sure they are followed by everyone involved in delivering services on your behalf. If you are unsure how a standard applies, please speak to your European Tour Group contact before proceeding. We take breach of these standards very seriously.

Thank you for your partnership and for helping us protect what matters most – our people, our events and our reputation.

Guy Kinnings

Chief Executive Officer

Our Expectations

Make sure your employees, subcontractors and others in your supply chain understand and follow these standards. You remain responsible for their conduct when they are delivering services for or representing the European Tour Group.

• Act with integrity and good judgement – Follow all applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and relevant industry requirements. Work honestly, fairly and transparently at all times. Avoid conflicts of interest, declare them early, and raise concerns promptly if something could put people, our events or our reputation at risk.

• No bribery or improper influence – Comply with all applicable anti-bribery, anti-corruption and related legal or regulatory requirements. Never offer, give, request or accept bribes, kickbacks, facilitation payments or anything intended to improperly influence a decision.

• Be accurate and accountable – Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensure transactions are properly authorised, recorded and auditable, comply with applicable financial, tax, anti-fraud and reporting laws, regulations and standards, and never falsify, conceal or misrepresent information.

• Work fairly and responsibly with us – Compete fairly, do not seek improper advantage, and comply with applicable competition, trade, sanctions, anti-money laundering and other relevant legal or regulatory requirements. Do not subcontract key work without agreement, remain accountable where you do, and work only with reputable partners and legitimate sources of funds.

How we treat people

Everyone working with us has a part to play in creating an environment that is respectful, inclusive, lawful and safe.

• Treat people properly – We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment (including sexual harassment) and discrimination of any kind. Treat everyone with dignity and respect, maintain an inclusive and lawful working environment, comply with all applicable employment, equality and worker protection laws, and challenge or report behaviour that falls below these standards.

• Modern slavery and fair working conditions – Comply with all applicable modern slavery, labour and employment laws, regulations and recognised standards. Do not use or support forced labour, human trafficking or exploitation, or employ underage workers. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery in any form. Pay people fairly and on time, and respect legal working hours, employment rights and minimum standards.

How we keep people and our business safe

Protecting people comes first. Protecting information and our wider business also matters because it helps us deliver safe, secure and successful events and operations.

• Keep people safe – Comply with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations, codes and relevant industry standards. Provide safe working conditions for your teams and others across all ETG environments. Follow venue rules, accreditation conditions and event briefings, ensure your teams are trained, competent and properly equipped, and act immediately if something is unsafe.

• Protect our brands and confidential information – Keep commercial and confidential information secure and use it only for agreed, authorised purposes. Maintain appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, respect our intellectual property and brand rights, and report security issues that do not involve personal data immediately. Report any actual or suspected personal data breach or cyber incident under the requirement below.

• Comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations – If you handle personal date this needs to comply with laws and regulations, including UK GDPR and EU GDPR where relevant. Collect and use personal data only where necessary, lawful and authorised; limit access to those who need it; protect it against unauthorised access, loss, damage or cyber threats; and report any actual or suspected data breach or cyber incident immediately.

• Work responsibly and sustainably – Comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulatory requirements and relevant standards. Minimise waste, use resources responsibly, support more sustainable ways of working where possible, and share relevant environmental information where reasonably requested.

How we communicate and raise concerns

Open, professional communication helps us act early, solve issues quickly and protects our people, our events and our reputation.

• Communicate responsibly – Represent ETG professionally at tournaments, with host partners, and in any player, fan, media or supplier-facing environment. Do not make public statements about us without approval, and avoid behaviour, including on social media, that could harm our reputation.

• Speak up early if something is not right – Raise concerns about safety, behaviour, compliance or ethics with your ETG contact or through the appropriate reporting channel. Support a culture where people can speak up without fear of retaliation and never retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. To raise a concern anonymously, use our Speak Up Portal.

Our commitment to you

We take every concern seriously and we handle information with care; sharing it only where necessary to investigate a concern, protect those involved or meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We value the partners who share these standards and help bring them to life. You can expect the same integrity, accountability, respect and care from us in every interaction.
