The European Tour’s innovative content has been recognised once again with the company being shortlisted for accolades in three categories at this year’s BT Sports Industry Awards.
The distinguished awards ceremony recognises the best work from across the sports sector, and this year the European Tour has received nominations for the Sport Organisation of the Year Award, the Media Content Award for its coverage of The 2018 Ryder Cup, and the Event of the Year Award – also for The 2018 Ryder Cup.
Last year the European Tour took home the Social Media Campaign of the Year prize for its Access All Areas series, which included such videos as Aaron’s Big Day, the Fastest Hole of Golf, the Awkward Reporter and Bad Coaching.
Also in the running for a BT Sports Industry Award are Official European Tour Partner Hilton, who have been nominated for the Event or Competition Sponsorship Award for their collaboration with the European Tour at the BMW PGA Championship.
Winners of the BT Sport Industry Awards 2019 will be announced at the industry’s biggest night of the year on Thursday April 25 at Battersea Evolution in London.
