Biography

Picked up a club when he was five years old after being introduced to the game by his father, who was a PE teacher. Also played ice hockey and football as a youngster but took up golf more seriously when he was 16. Became the third amateur to win on the Challenge Tour when he captured the Finnish Open on his debut in 2004. Won again in 2013 before graduating again to the European Tour. Captured his maiden title at the 2015 Madeira Islands Open – BPI – Portugal, which had been rescheduled for July after bad weather forced the cancellation of the original date. Lives in Orlando where he follows the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL Team. Wife Minea plays on the LPGA Tour and was on his bag at the Qualifying School. Is also a fan of crime novels and rock music.
