Biography

Secured a return to The European Tour by finishing sixth on the 2005 Challenge Tour Rankings, largely in part to six top five finishes over the course of a highly consistent season. Cemented his place on Tour in 2006 by finishing 103rd on the Order of Merit, but had to go through Qualifying School – Final Stage to secure his playing rights for 2010. Played for the Swedish National team as an amateur and won on his first outing for the team, at the Junior British Open at Crail in 2000. Was a keen and talented footballer and was pursued by his local team, Hittarps IK, before he decided to make golf his profession. Decided to turn professional at the age of 19 instead of following the majority of his National team-mates to America where he was offered several college scholarships, and straight from the amateur ranks to The European Tour via the 2003 Qualifying School. Coached by Kristian ‘Kricken’ Härdin and member of Vasatorps Golf Club in Helsingborg.
