Finally earned a European Tour card ten years after turning professional, fulfilling the potential he had shown in a promising amateur career. Landed some major titles before joining the paid ranks, including the Australian Amateur Championship and the Welsh Stroke Play Championship, but then spent a decade bouncing between the Challenge Tour and the Europro Tour, all the while wondering whether he had what it took to make it to the top. His perseverance paid off when he took the 25th card at the Qualifying School Final Stage, earning a rookie season on The European Tour at the age of 31. Was born in Australia and lived there until he was ten, before moving back to his parents’ homeland of Scotland and representing the country at all levels from the age of 15. Was also a talented footballer, training with St Johnstone and Dundee United as a 16 year old, and is a huge Celtic FC fan.
