Provided the story of the 2012 Challenge Tour Grand Final, where he was the 45th and last man to qualify and ended the week clutching a European Tour card having tied for second place. Needed to hole a six foot putt at the last to ensure he finished joint runner-up and duly did so - despite admitting he could not feel his arms - to rise to 16th place in the Rankings. Said he had gone into the week to "enjoy it and try to make a few quid" but finished it having secured a rookie season on The European Tour in 2013. Was plagued by injury in 2013 and 2014, so has a medical extension for 2015. Slowly returned to form and came through the Europro Tour in 2011 to earn a full season on the Challenge Tour.
