Grabbed the golfing headlines when he became only the third amateur to lead a European Tour event at the halfway stage after opening with 68-67 in the Nordea Masters on home soil in June 2015. Then 18, he ultimately shared 33rd place on his second European Tour appearance, earning praise across the board for his mature performance. Later in the year he came through the Qualifying School Second Stage in third place, then took the 17th card at the Final Stage having led after three rounds. Had been considering going to college in America, but turned professional after his success at PGA Catalunya Resort. The son of a golf professional, he started playing the game at six years old and showed huge potential, winning the 2015 Junior Invitational and representing Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2014.
