Has twice graduated from the Challenge Tour but if he had not made it at the end of the 2000 season, was seriously considering quitting tournament golf. Never won a European Tour title but has been second three times. Had six top ten finishes on the Challenge Tour in 2000 including victory in the Costa Blanca Challenge after beating fellow Swede and Number One ranked Henrik Stenson in a play-off. After taking up the game at the age of six and getting down to scratch at 15, he won junior and senior caps for Sweden and played for the Continent of Europe against Great Britain and Ireland. Earned a medical exemption for the 2003 season after suffering an elbow injury in 2002.
