• 27 players earn European Tour cards
  • Seven under par and better good enough for Race to Dubai spots
  • Get involved using #QSchool

Totes emosh

But perhaps the overriding feeling is the huge emotions experienced by all involved. We'll leave you with this, and notable mention to Matthew Southgate for the heartwarming story of the week - we wish you and your family all the best for 2016 and beyond.

Tears flow in emotional Q-School finale

The 2015 edition of The European Tour’s Qualifying School Final Stage once again provided emotional tales by the shedload, but few stories carried the same level of emotional weight as that of Mathew Southgate.

Don't mind doing it for the kids

One of the stories of the week was the performance of Paul Dunne and Marcus Kinhult, both playing with a maturity well beyond their years to seal European Tour cards.

The kids are alright - Dunne and Kinhult reach the big time

As emotions ran high on the sixth and final day of The European Tour’s Qualifying School Final Stage, two of the coolest customers at PGA Catalunya Resort were also two of the youngest – teenager Marcus Kinhult and 22 year old Paul Dunne, who both earned spots on The Race to Dubai for 2016.

It's all over now

A long and emotional day is drawing to a close. Here's our round up of what happened:

Three share Q-School victory after drama in Girona

The unique and captivating nature of The European Tour’s Qualifying School Final Stage was encapsulated perfectly by a dramatic final day which produced three winners, tears by the bucketload and the emergence of some of golf’s most promising future stars.

So, on countback, Ulrich Van Den Berg takes the first card. He and Adrian Otaegui both shot 68 today, meaning we had to go back to yesterday's fifth round when the South African's 71 beat the Spaniard's 72. Daniel Im gets card number three.

The qualifying score, once again, was seven under par, with 27 players earning European Tour cards for the 2016 season.

All over - three winners

I'll be honest, it's still unclear who has won. Apparently it's technically a shared victory between Daniel Im, Adrian Otaegui and Ulrich Van Den Berg who all finished on 18 under par. The most important thing, of course, is that all three now have European Tour cards for next season - as do Ross McGowan, Jean Hugo and Chris Hanson, who holed a massive par putt on 18 to sneak in on seven under par.

The countback will determine their ranking for exemption purposes, but to all intents and purposes we have three winners here in Girona.

No play-off

I've just been reminded that there will be no play-off - the winner here will be decided on count back. Which means Daniel Im's birdie on the 17th could prove to be decisive.

In all that excitement it's been easy to overlook the fact that there's a golf tournament going on!

Adrian OtaeguiDaniel Im and Ulrich Van Den Berg share the lead on 18 under par, all coming down the last.
