Goosen Leads European Tour Challenge at Augusta National
The enduring strength in depth of The European Tour will be emphasised once again this week at Augusta National Golf Club when 24 European Tour Members make the nerve-tingling journey up Magnolia Drive to contest the 2003 Masters Tournament.

Weir Makes Masters History
Mike Weir became the first Canadian to win a major as he triumphed over Len Mattiace at the first extra hole at Augusta to claim the famous Masters Green Jacket. Mattiace had set the clubhouse target with a superb final round of 65, but was matched as Weir holed a number of key putts including a 6 footer on the last to force the play-off. Weir made his first bogey of the day at the 10th, the first extra hole, but it was enough to clinch a hard earned victory. Full report to follow.

Mike Weir became the first Canadian golfer to win a Major Championship title when he beat American Len Mattiace at the first play-off hole to claim the 67th Masters Tournament after an enthralling final day at Augusta National.
Masters First Day is Washed Out
The first round of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National has been postponed until Friday due to heavy rain. It is the first time since 1939 that the entire opening day's play has been lost, and the first time since 1983 that an entire day's play has fallen foul of the weather, on this occasion the second round was washed out for the day.
Clarke takes route 66 to lead after Masters first round
Darren Clarke got his quest for his first Major Championship victory off to the best possible start with a scintillating six under par 66 to take a commanding lead after the first round of the 67th Masters Tournament at Augusta National.
Clarke remains in contention as darkness falls on Augusta National
Darren Clarke kept alive the dream of his first Major Championship victory as darkness fell at Augusta National, the Irishman lying second on four under par, two shots behind Canadian Mike Weir midway through round two of the rain-interrupted 67th Masters Tournament.
