Tournament History

The Nordea Masters has been an ever present on The European Tour schedule since 1991, and in that time some of the best of both Scandinavian and World golf have triumphed here, the most recent of which being home hero Alexander Noren. In blustery conditions during the third round the Swede put together one of the most impressive rounds of the season, and it was this 63 that would see him enter the final round with a staggering 11 shot lead over second placed American Bubba Watson. He would eventually win by seven during yet another inclement final day making him the third Swede in a row to win this event, and the fifth overall, after Richard S Johnson, Peter Hanson, Joakim Haeggman and Jesper Parnevik.
