EURASIA CUP presented by DRB-HICOM

FIELD: 10 PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM
EUROPEAN TEAM ELIGIBILITY:
The European Team to compete in the 2014 Eurasia Cup shall comprise of the following Members:-
(a) The leading four eligible and available Members* on The Final 2013 Race to Dubai. In the event of a tie between Members (i.e. a number of Members having accumulated an equal number of Race to Dubai points), placings will be decided by the Member with the higher ranking on the Official World Golf Ranking as published on Sunday 17th November 2013.
(b) The leading four Members*, not already entered through (a) above, on the Official World Golf Ranking as published on Sunday February 2nd 2014. In the event of a tie between Members (i.e. a number of Members having an equal OWGR points average on this date), placings will be decided by the Member with the higher ranking on the 2014 Race to Dubai as of Sunday February 2nd 2014.
(c) The Captain**
(d) The Captain, will choose (at his own discretion) the remaining Member*
** NB. If the Captain should qualify through (a) or (b) above, then he can choose one further Member* at his own discretion to complete the team.
The tournament will be a Match Play Competition between two teams of 10 Players representing Europe and Asia. On the 1st day there will be a series of 5 Fourball matches, on the second day a series of 5 Foursome matches and on the final day a series of 10 singles matches.
*For the purposes of defining eligibility for selection for the 2014 Eurasia Cup team only, all references to Member(s) and Membership in the eligibility criteria referred to above shall mean only those European Members of the European Tour, whether Ranked Members, Affiliate Members, Honorary Life Members, Past Champions or other Members of distinction or Ranked European Members of the European Challenge Tour.
1. In the event of the Captain being injured and unable to Participate in the event as a competitor, he will act as a non-playing Captain and if he qualified under (c) above he will be able to choose one further Member* at his own discretion to complete the team. If however he had qualified through (a) or (b) above (and therefore already has two “picks”) the next eligible Player from (a) or (b) as applicable will complete the team.
2. All decisions and/or disputes relating to a Player’s eligibility for selection for a European Eurasia Cup team including any issues relating to nationality, citizenship, domicile or residency of a Player will be determined by the European Tour’s Tournament Committee, subject to the ratification of any such decision by the board of the European Tour.
Winning team: US$ 300,000 per player
Losing team: US$ 100,000 per player
TOTAL: US$ 4,000,000
