RSM present a statistical look back at Justin Harding's maiden European tour victory at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters...

Harding has been a serial winner on the Sunshine and Asian Tours, having won seven and two times on those professional circuits respectively, but had to wait until his 54th appearance to make his European Tour breakthrough.

Harding has been in the form of his life, and his latest triumph, which came by two shots at Doha Golf Club, made it five wins in the last nine months for the talented 33 year old.

Golfers have to travel a lot to pursue their careers, but even by golfing standards Harding’s travelling exploits are impressive – since February last year he’s played in 22 countries, registering 15 top 10 finishes in the process.

The 33 year old’s statistics from Qatar, where he carded rounds of 68, 68, 73 and 66, show how good the South African’s all-round game is at the moment, with Harding ranking in the top 30 in Putts per GIR, Driving Distance Average, Fairways found, Bogey Avoidance and the amount of Birdies or Better a player made.

Harding could move as high as 51st in the Official World Golf Rankings courtesy of his latest success, and heads to Kenya hoping to seal back-to-back victories for the third time in less than a year, having achieved that feat on the Sunshine Tour in May, and the Asian Tour in July.
