Matthias Schwab was the star on an at times wild and windy second day of the Made in Denmark presented by FREJA but there was plenty more going on at Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort.
Here's everything you need to know from Friday in Farsø.
Going out in the tough, wet and windy conditions of the morning two shots off the lead, you would have got long odds that Schwab would be at the top of the leaderboard after day two. But the young Austrian mastered the elements with a bogey free 66 that moved him to eight under, one shot clear of Spaniard Alejandro Cañizares and Frenchman Romain Langasque. Schwab has been a picture of consistency since coming through the Qualifying School in 2017 and a first European Tour victory may not be far away.
Another ace on Himmerland Hill
Martin Simonsen brought a big roar from the famous 16th on day one and Sebastian Soderberg was the man at it on Friday. As part of the very first group to reach Himmerland Hill, the Swede holed his 50 degree wedge from 100 yards for the 14th hole-in-one of the season. Could there be more to come this week?
Baby it's cold outside
When this event was moved from August to May, we could have expected it to be a bit chillier but nobody was expecting the conditions we got on day two. Cold, wind and rain made scoring very tough in the morning and Richie Ramsay labelled it "as tough as I have seen it". That's a man used to playing in Scotland.
Miles of putts
There were plenty of players with their putting boots on as monster after monster rolled into the cup. Shubhankar Sharma really made his count, getting home from 40 and 60 feet as he birdied five of his last six holes to make the weekend. Erik van Rooyen also holed a stunner and Pablo Larrazábal made this contribution.
Beef in his element
There are few bigger characters on the European Tour then Andrew 'Beef' Johnston and who could forget his pledge to 'get hammered' after winning his first European Tour title at the 2016 Real Club Valderrama Open de España, hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation. So was it any surprise when Beef delighted the fans as he walked through the beer tent to get to the 14th tee?
