Padraig Harrington, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Matt Wallace and Bernd Wiesberger will bring further star power to an impressive field at the Omega European Masters from August 29 to September 1, 2019.

Three-time Major winner and 2020 European Ryder Cup Captain Padraig Harrington returns to the picturesque Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club for the first time since 2014.

The Irishman counts consecutive Open Championship wins in 2007 and 2008 and the 2008 US PGA Championship amongst his 15 European Tour wins. He will tee it up in Switzerland as he prepares to captain the European team in the 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.

Miguel

As the event in the stunning surroundings of Crans Montana celebrates its 80th anniversary, 21-time European Tour winner Jiménez is marking yet another milestone of his own, as he tees it up in the tournament for the 30th time.

The charismatic Spaniard made his 700th European Tour appearance at The Open in July, and he will be seeking a second Omega European Masters title after his victory in 2010.

Wallace

They will be joined by Englishman Matt Wallace, who claimed three titles last season to take his total number of European Tour wins to four. He is enjoying another impressive season with four top three finishes so far in 2019, including tied third at the US PGA Championship.

Austrian Bernd Wiesberger will be aiming for more success in what has been a stunning season after returning from injury. He has triumphed twice on the European Tour in 2019, adding the Made in Denmark and Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open titles to his four previous wins to move to second place in the Race to Dubai.

Wiesberger

The four international stars join a field that also includes World Number Three Rory McIlroy, his fellow Major champions Sergio Garcia and Danny Willett, the 2017 Race to Dubai winner Tommy Fleetwood, two-time Omega European Masters champion Matt Fitzpatrick, and another winner of the event – former World Number One Lee Westwood.
