Held at Crans-sur-Sierre GC, Crans Montana, the $3.25 million tournament is the second of nine events in a ten-week stretch to form Phase Two of the Race to Dubai.

The event marks the final opportunity for players to make their case for a Captain's Pick in Luke Donald's 12-man Ryder Cup team, before the Team Europe skipper names his six selections on September 1.

Matt Fitzpatrick and Alex Noren - both two-time winners in the Swiss mountains - are among those teeing it up, alongside 2023 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark, while France's Mike Lorenzo-Vera makes his 285th and final appearance on the DP World Tour.

Matt Wallace is the defending champion.

From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.

Who are the most picked players?

For the second week in a row, Fitzpatrick is the most picked player among Fantasy users, featuring in 87% of teams.

Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard are then second and third, featuring in 66% and 65% respectively.

On the back of his return to the winner's circle last week, Noren is fancied to challenge for a third title in Crans Montana as he is selected in 62% of teams.

Clark rounds out the top five, with the American included in 57% of teams as he makes his debut in the tournament.

Who are our ones to watch?

Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.

Favourite - Matt Fitzpatrick

The Englishman has made no secret over the years that he loves it at Crans-sur-Sierre GC. Having visited the scenic setting in the clouds for the first time back in 2014, he has since won the title twice and also finished second and third across his eight visits. Since the Masters Tournament in April, he has not missed a cut and registered his fifth top ten in his last seven starts worldwide at last week's Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. The Major winner spoke of being high in confidence but keeping expectations low at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, but will be aware he will go in as the pre-tournament favourite as he looks to underline his case for a Captain's Pick.

Form Horse - Alex Noren

The Swede is just one of two players - alongside Fitzpatrick - teeing it up this week with the chance to join a group of players to have won this event on three occassions. His long-awaited return to the winner's circle over the weekend has lifted him to his highest Official World Golf Ranking since 2019. After returning to action in May following seven months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury sustained in October 2024, he has made up for lost time in recent weeks. His victory in England last week was preceeded by back-to-back top tens on the PGA TOUR and the 43-year-old will now hope to rekindle fond memories as he makes his first return to the event since 2019.

Wild Card - Mike Lorenzo-Vera

The Frenchman bids an emotional goodbye to professional golf this week in the Swiss mountains. Having announced his retirement in April, he will be make his swansong appearance at a venue which he first visited as a player in 2008. In the ten appearances he made over the years, he has finished in the top ten twice and registered three top 20s to boot. The 40-year-old may have never won to date on the DP World Tour, but with five runner-up finishes and seven Major Championship appearances to his name he has certainly left his imprint. After taking an extended break from the game to protect his mental health last year, wouldn't it be great to bow out with a performance to match his big personality.

Looking back - Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo

Noren may have only been making his first start of the season in a regular DP World Tour event last week, but the Swede's pedigree still meant he was the seventh most popular player in team selections.

Holding off Nicolai Højgaard and a charging Kazuma Kobori, the Swede won his 11th DP World Tour title as he ended a seven-year worldwide wait for victory. By doing so, he picked up 211 Fantasy points for the 6,250 people who picked him. Of those, 483 or 2.61% of Fantasy players made him their Captain.

Aaron Rai, our Favourite, finished in a share of 33rd place, Form Horse Matt Fitzpatrick held the 54-hole lead before ending up in a tie for sixth, while Wild Card Brandon Stone finished in a tie for 27th.
